Skills she applied from previous lessons:
Measuring and cutting.
How to thread and run a sewing machine;
sew a simple hem;
sew a very straight line.

Additional skills she learned here:
Stitching the casings,
stitching the sides,
inserting the cords.

Tools she learned to use:
Measuring tape, marking pen, shears, seam gauge, pins, sewing machine, and an iron.

July Sewing Camps

*     Sewing Machine Fun. $10 (Learn to run a sewing machine.)
       One 2 hr. session 1pm – 3pm, July 6 or 7

1.      Sleepover Set: July 13-15  Small Blanket, Pillow Case or Tote Bag (cancelled)
2.       Summer Wear: July 20-22  Pants, Shorts or Skirts (completed)
3.       Doll Clothes (for 18” doll): July 27-29[FULL]
                     Bring your own 18” doll, or pre-order one from the teacher:
                     “Our Generation” dolls are $20 non-poseable, or $35 poseable (plus tax)

Each camp has three 2 hr. sessions, from 1pm- 3pm on Wed. Thurs. and Friday.
Cost for each camp is $60 (except “Sewing Machine Fun”).
Fabric and notions are extra.
Sewing machines and equipment are supplied. 
*Sewing Machine Fun  is a pre-requisite for all summer camps.
